Establishment story and goals

The Solidarity Platform of Halabja Organizations includes a number of civil society organizations in Halabja province, which voluntarily and independently work together, with the aim of organizing and working organizations in a scientific manner and determine their role in society and not to be mixed with the work of parties and groups, Working harder to consolidate the principles of human rights, democracy, a green and clean environment and improve the lives of our citizen.

The purpose of establishing the Halabja Organizations Solidarity Platform was the lack of a network of NGOs that have received official licenses from the Kurdistan Regional Government or Baghdad NGO Office, as a result (Qayssar Rahman Ahmed) from Nwe organization with partnership of (Mariwan Wahbi) from Disables organization of Halabja, and (Mohammed Pirkhdri) from Arami organization of Halabja initiated the establishment of a solidarity platform of Halabja organizations.

Objectives of the Solidarity Platform of Halabja Organizations

– Development of society in the civil, social, environmental and economic fields.

– Develop organizational work in a scientific manner, especially civil society organizations.

– Working to consolidate the principles of civil society, human rights, democracy and environmental protection.
